Strangers to lovers with a twist...

Rainey and Jasper are from two different worlds. Literally, washed up on an Island that transcends the concept of time, Jasper finds himself in the company of a young woman whose explanation feels like something from science fiction. But even though the truth is hard to swallow, it doesn’t change his new reality, where the concept of time and mythos merge.
I listened to the audiobook as I read along, and I have to say, Arya Jacobs did an outstanding job! The narration pulled me into the story from the start and was a perfect match to Amelia’s writing.
I loved all of the mythological concepts that built the groundwork for this world outside of time. The dynamic between Rainey and Jasper was so perfect. I was rooting for them from the start.
But toss in not one but two meddling mothers and a society with its own rules, and things get… complicated. Especially when things that initially felt black-and-white suddenly start to look a little gray and pear-shaped. I love a story where the affection creeps in slowly, and that’s exactly how this felt. It’s a medium burn with mutual longing.
Jasper’s only concern was returning to the world he knew, and Rainey was more than willing to help make that happen while also looking out for herself. I love an FMC who shows grit and determination, and Rainey is a new favorite of mine. I loved her personality. Jasper is also very sweet, loyal, and protective, and as he learns more about the woman and world around him, everything starts to change.
There is also very unexpected plot twists! I loved listening to this book. Xoxo

Sirens and Time Travel win!

Amelia J. Rivers creates a fantasy location Siren Island where many would long to visit and likey stay. With a time plurality and a romance that will make you swoon this is a must read. A unique take on sirens makes this a five star listen. Arya Jacobs' range and smooth delivery makes her an auto buy narrator. Her ability to convey emotion and nuance between characters is top tier.

Ayra Jacobs narrated this wonderful story. Rainey and Jasper are well thought out characters. The narration is spot on and I loved the voice infections. This is such a unique storyline, it held my attention throughout. This is a really good one to try.

THIS IS THE FANTASY YOU’RE LOOKING FOR

I read this before it came out in audio and was in love with this story then. I knew the audiobook would elevate it even more, and it did not disappoint! Amelia is masterful in her story telling, but I already knew that! Arya was the perfect choice for Rainey. Her melodic voice was so easy to listen to and her ability to differentiate each character was impressive. Go listen NOW. The second half of the book had me on the edge of my seat!!!! 5 ⭐️

Loved the different voices!

Really enjoyed the audio book! I like that the narrator sort of deepened her voice for the male dialogue.

This book was a JOURNEY! I was nervous we wouldn’t get a HEA (or at least the one I anticipated).
