This is fate!!!! Thanks for sharing your story and how you were able to make the best out of a bad situation. You are a prime example of taking advantage of the programs / education available to you while in prison and being able utilize those skills once you were release as well as given back to the community through mentorship. You have great ideas as to how to support / uplift inmates as it relates to hope, mental health and purpose.

Darkness turned into Light

This book shows one man's uphill journey relying on his faith in God. He managed to turn his life around and achieve goals that he himself never imagined. Not only is he still rising he is offering hope to the future generation by sharing his experience, knowledge & faith. God is using a sinner with a past as in inspirational beacon of light. A great read for anyone looking to change the path their on by keeping hope alive for a better future. Charles proves with God it can & will be done.

The connection the writer made with God through clear messages.

I appreciated the comeback. It’s hard to not only reach goals when your world feels like it has completely fell apart, let alone even think of climbing out of a dark place. This man made it his mission to right his wrongs and seems to still be moving forward to this day. This book was a major motivation for me.

Powerful story

Highly recommend this book of redemption, accountability and persistence. This man turned in what was his biggest mistake in life to improving his community. He did not shy away from his mistakes and did not blame anyone but himself. He also gave an interesting look of the Justice system through eyes of someone awaiting trial. The read was easy and could be completed in the it takes to watch a movie. Highly recommend.

God is real!

People should listen to this story and understand that God gives us choices but, he already knows our decision before we make them. Every action has a reaction whether good or bad and only the God knows the final outcome of a situation.
