Doctor Breanna Roberts and her assistant Zoe Coleson, traveled to some of the most dangerous places on Earth to tend to the sick and injured. Bree was an expert in her field, but even she had a breaking point. Diagnosed with stress disorder, she was told to change her lifestyle and settle in one place for a while. Reluctantly, she and Zoe accepted jobs at a medium size hospital in Florida and settled into a daily routine. After a disastrous relationship with Jeff, the hospital administrator, Bree decided it was time to move on. With that in mind, she entered Jeff's office for a routine meeting only to meet her future head on. The Allkrum and Malai were two alien species well known on Earth. Their people played a major role in ending the Beast War that devastated the planet. Since then the aliens could be found all over the world, living and working among humans. Not long ago another species was discovered, the New Makcara, half-men half-beasts. The males were big, handsome, and powerfully built. Some were crew members on the Malai spacecraft Seeker, which was presently visiting Earth on a recruiting mission. The head of Seeker's Tactical Ops Security Force was the New Makcara Guardian, Rage. Tall, dark and lethal, Rage was sent to Earth to escort Bree back to Seeker. The two mixed like oil and water from the first moment they met.
