Matt Pearson, the 50-year-old founder of Cryonics, has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer, and given six weeks to live. With an unfulfilled past and a competitive partner and past lover, Diana, he struggles to come to terms with his impending death. Then, he meets and falls in love with the girl of his dreams, Angela, who is 30 years younger.

As a celebrated author and speaker, Angela introduces him to a world of dreams, fantasy, and immortality. Matt opens up to her, and he realizes that the last thing he wants to do before he dies is to get married and have a family.

As the co-founder of the cryonics institute, he has to decide whether he will trust his own technology enough to revive and cure him at a future date. But before he can marry Angela, Matt dies suddenly, leaving her heartbroken.

Thirty years pass, and Diana is now 85, and Angela is 50. Angela held on to the belief that her love with Matt would last. But the vengeful Diana concocts a nefarious scheme to keep Matt from his share of the company, whether he is reanimated or not.

Matt has to make the hard choice between true love or worldly success, knowing that his fulfillment lies in making the right choice. He also has to figure out a way to thwart Diana's plans.

With Angela by his side, he decides to go through with cryopreservation, hoping to be revived in the future when a cure for his cancer is available. In the years that follow, Matt's body remains in suspended animation, waiting for the day when he can be brought back to life.

As time goes by, Diana's health deteriorates, and she realizes that she doesn't have much time left. She decides to be cryopreserved as well, hoping to cheat death like Matt did.

When the time finally comes to revive Matt, he and Angela discover that Diana had made it difficult for them to access Matt's assets. They also find out that Diana had left a will that would leave everything to her cryopreserved self.

In a final showdown, Matt and Angela battle the aging Diana. However, in a strange turn of events, Diana finds that she is the one who becomes frozen forever. Matt and Angela get married and start a family, finally fulfilling Matt's lifelong dream. With their love and commitment, they are able to overcome the obstacles and fulfill their destiny together.
