The Legend of Billy Hayes

At the young age of nineteen Billy Hayes was forced to kill a man who challenged him to a dual. Seeking to avoid revenge from the man’s three brothers, Billy joins the Confederate Army where he teaches himself to shoot and draw with accuracy and speed. After he returns to Texas a series of unfortunate events gain him a reputation as a gunslinger. Billy wanders from town to town trying to stay one step ahead of his unwanted reputation. He assumes a new identity and eventually ends up in Durango, Colorado, helping a beautiful woman stand up against a bully who is trying to take away the Silver Lady, the richest silver mine ever discovered. Billy’s intentions are honorable, however this time he just may be in way over his head. To further complicate matters, trouble from south Texas has followed him all the way to Colorado!
