The question, “Who am I?” is a tricky one. Most approaches available to those who seek answer to this question are rooted in the ‘self’ itself, making study of the ‘self’ in order to find its reality. Anyone following these approaches is bound to get trapped in the ‘self’ in such a way that it becomes difficult for him to escape from it. This question itself is genuine but once a person starts trying to find answer for it, inevitably his efforts lead him to a blind alley. Once he arrives there, generally he takes recourse to self-deception and starts indulging in philosophy or psychology or even occultism. Freudian, Jungian and theosophical approaches provide good instances in this regard. The author of this small piece of writing has a unique and most original answer to this question. Uniqueness and originality apart, the true worth of his views lies in their veracity. He is utterly devoid of self-deception. He doesn’t try to weave a maze of philosophy or seduce his readers to align their ‘self’ with ‘dark’ energies through occult practices. His answer is out and out based on Christian theology. Yet, even a confirmed scholar of Christian theology would find it to be utterly refreshing. It cannot be that the reader of this work will not find himself enlightened after reading it.
