Where are all the heroes?

The purpose of this book is to build you up and put some wind in your sail. Where are all the Gentlemen? We need gentlewomen and gentlemen now more than ever. What makes a gentleman? It is not that he holds open doors, or knows which fork is the salad fork. It has nothing to do with etiquette. A gentleman strives to live to a standard. This standard is the Golden Rule: “Treat others as you would like to be treated.” Our ability to live the Golden Rule is dependent on our level of maturity. Our maturity grows as we live for a worthy purpose. Each chapter presents a topic meant to encourage and build the reader up. The author seeks to join the conversation already in our head as we think about how to live a life of meaning and happiness.
