Voices in the Void
In a future ruled by algorithms, true human connection is the ultimate rebellion.
Naomi Keller trusts data, not people. EchoSphere's star analyst, she’s walled herself off behind the very algorithms she masters. But when she uncovers a horrifying truth, the company's Harmony Algorithm isn't connecting users, it's systematically isolating them, she's thrust into the dangerous underworld of a rising resistance.
There, she collides with Dominic Wells, a remorseful ex-EchoSphere executive haunted by his role in crafting the technology now muzzling humanity. With digital doppelgangers replacing real people and every move predicted, Naomi and Dominic realize their only weapon against the machine isn't superior tech, but the messy, unpredictable power of what makes them human.
Their fight for freedom ignites an unexpectedly personal fire, transforming a fragile alliance into a raw, undeniable connection. Hiding from EchoSphere's relentless hunters, Naomi discovers that vulnerability, emotional and physical—might be the one force no algorithm can decode. Each stolen, passionate moment becomes a defiant blow against the sterile digital cage they're desperate to shatter.
As the chilling "Silence Initiative" looms, Naomi must gamble everything, embracing the human chaos she once shunned. To secure a future where authentic voices can still be heard, she'll risk not only her life, but her heart.
This steamy techno-thriller explores the fight for human connection in a digital dystopia through explicit intimate scenes. Ideal for listeners craving intellectual depth alongside sensual heat.
©2025 Heath Barker (P)2025 Heath BarkerMy only minor grievance was the flow in certain chapters. There were a handful of moments where the transitions felt a bit off, momentarily pulling me out of the story. However, the strength of the plot and the 'real-world' feel of the narrative more than made up for those hiccups. If you like stories that feel authentic and high-stakes, I highly recommend this.
almost too realistic
