So much more than the title

The book bolts out of the starting gate in the usual A.W. Tozer fashion and never lets you take a breath, an earthly breath that is. As far as a Godly breath goes, I feel like I have had mouth to mouth resuscitation from God Himself!

This book seems to be just about the prophet but is so much more than that it is about the Christian walk and how black and white the God is, wanting to have a personal relationship with US! This Audio Book had a special treat at the end-- recordings of A.W. Tozer preaching on the topics in the book. That was unexpected and inspiring.

I had a little trouble with Mr. Snyder doing the narration. It took me about a chapter to figure out what that was. It was my expectations from audio books. I expect that they will be read to me. Mr. Snyder did not read this book to me, he spoke is as a reverend would preach a sermon. It did not take anything away from the book at all, in fact it seemed that he actually has as much love for this message as Tozer did himself.

Deep stuff here. Very rich and centered around the glory of God. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

A. W. Tozer nails it in this series of messages that have been compiled into this book. It is the Word of God expounded.❤️🙏🏽

Tozer clearly defines and explains a true prophet as opposed to what he refers to as the sons of a prophet.

God's man? He who's life is not his own.

Mal 1:14 KJV But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

God still uses Prophet today

I enjoy listening to the teaching of the prophet in the past and it is still relevant today . I gave this book a five review because of the audio was clear and without any technical difficulties and the reader Mr Snyder do a great job and I would recommend this audio the voice of the prophet to others

I have listened to this book several times. It is a great listen, it should make you think about what was going on in the days of AW Tozer and what is going on now. Tozer wanted to know God, you can tell that by all his books. Open your heart and let God speak to you through what Tozer says.
