What causes vitiligo genetics?
It sometimes "runs in families", suggesting that genetics may play a role. People with vitiligo often report that its onset was related to a specific triggering event, such as injury, illness, sunburn, emotional stress, or pregnancy. However, there are currently no data supporting that these factors cause vitiligo.
Natural Cures for Vitiligo: How to Treat White Spots
The exact cause of this skin condition is still unknown, but experts believe that it can be due to an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system itself attacks the melanin-producing cells.
Other causes that may contribute to this problem are vitamin B12 deficiency, genetic predisposition, excessive stress, and overexposure to sun rays. It can also be caused by superficial fungal infections like eczema, tinea versicolor, psoriasis, or other skin conditions. Irrespective of the cause, the problem causes embarrassment and kills your self-confidence. But don’t lose heart as there are home remedies to solve this problem.
