A Wondrrful Listen!

The combination of the author's interspersing historical accuracy with fictional characters and the multi-voice talent of the narrator made this a superb listen. The gripping storyline actually transcends its setting of the upheaval of the mundane of L.A. in the early 90s to reflect the ongoing conversation of race relations now in the U.S.

Writing is too overly explanatory

The narrator isn’t the best voice actor and that what really does it for audience, also the author is good but to unnecessarily explain about simple stuff like ex. He picks up a pencil a bic, or he’s reading a rap magazine not nessary and the story did all that explaining for a low cash ending
