Here are four short stories filled with action, violence and morally questionable behavior, all set in New Eden, the galaxy of EVE Online.

The Day She Started Counting - A twelve-year-old girl unleashes a whirlwind of hell after murdering a cop with a slave's disciplinary device to protect her alcoholic father's illegal hobby.

The Atrocity Planners - After their parents are killed by police, two children must escape from their pirate home and quickly learn to shoot and kill.

Compensating for a Small Penis - Two bitter and foul-mouthed gunnery lieutenants must fight through a compromised battleship to warn the fleet commander of an imminent threat.

Viotro - The short prelude to the novel, Against A Rock. An escaped slave befriends a seemingly respectable drug dealer and slavery abolitionist.

I know it's cheating to review your own work but I wanted to mention my reaction after listening to these stories after so many years. I forgot about how they actually did have some depth to them. I remembered them being just cheap violence, like an excuse to get as bloody as I possibly could, but there is also a lot of messaging about moral values, about how and why people become so violent, how we hold violent people up as heroes, and how violent people always believe they are the good guys. This book is actually a deep part of me, showcasing both my ulta-violent fantasies and my anti-war, anti-weaponry perspective. It was my way of communicating my pacifism and love of peace through graphic depictions of violence, slavery and death.
