Gwen and Pete have never quite found their footing over the years. When they met, she was a sophomore in college, and he. . . was undead. After an attack shocks the realms, Gwen is separated from her coven and needs the protection of a vampire clan in Berlin. Walking the tightrope of her new life, Gwen must decide what she truly wants . . . While she still can.

It was love at first sight for Peter Ivanov. He's held the stolen season he had with Gwen in his heart ever since. Now, with the realms hunting for a rogue witch coven, he must protect her while still following the rules of his clan.

Thrown back together, they must try to find a way to untangle the painful past they left behind and maybe a future together in the dark. Gwen and Pete will traverse the realms for answers about why the attack happened. In the process, they must face the depths of their feelings and how love might change their lives forever.

I am hooked! I loved Peter and Gwen’s story. It was a nice, quick urban fantasy. It was an emotional, slow-burning process in which the lead characters had to navigate supernatural politics, external interference, and their own doubts.

I loved the way death was portrayed. It was a fun twist to a commonly feared character.

I am now invested and need to read other books from the Bramble Fea Universe!

Slow-burn Vampire Romance!
