This is another great adventure about Chet Byrnes. In this book Chet and his deputies and friends go up against the powerful high ups in Washington. They fight to keep there beef contracts. Someone is wanting Chet dead and is willing to pay for it. Chet and his guys do some Marshall work. Also Chet is working on building up his ranches more. This is a movie in your mind style of book.
