Not what I'd hoped

I found this book to be very average, hence the three stars. The steamy bits are alright, but the interpersonal relationships between the characters aren't stimulating. Meghan seems really selfish so it was hard to relate to her very much. I felt the men were largely interchangeable.

I was disappointed with the narration. While I'm normally a big fan of Sierra Kline's, I feel this was not her best work. I know there's a push in audio books sometimes to do this really flat, straightforward style of reading, but one of the reasons I like her so much is that she doesn't usually do that. I missed her normal vocal quality and felt the tone restricted her ability to perform to her usual high caliber. I hope this isn't a trend for her future works. Sierra, go back to what you do best, please!

Steamy, enjoyable read.

This story was very good overall. There were times that I was very frustrated with Meghan, though. Some of her actions were a tad bit hypocritical, but then I realized most of it was internal struggle and she wasn't necessarily acting on it.

I loved the steamy sex scenes!! The only thing that took me out of the moment was that nobody wore condoms. From a fantasy standpoint, it was fine, but if the author was trying for realism, she missed the mark a little bit.

Bryce was my favorite character and is now in the top 5 of my all-time favorite book boyfriends.

Started great and fizzled out

This book started out amazing and wonderful about a couple exploring their sexuality and how it can impact your life. But then it just fizzles out and could have ended about four hours earlier that it did. I absolutely love Sierra Kline and she is the only reason I finished the book.

Cold and Calculating

Because I really enjoyed another novel by this author I tried Vacation for Three . Unfortunately this book was all sex with no humor or emotion or engrossing characters..

I found Meghan particularly shallow, arrogant and self-centered, similar to the alpha male "heroes" so popular recently (without the violent behavior).

Meghan's relationships with boyfriends Bryce and Eric were sad and boring, with her pushing them to meet her constantly changing demands. So not romantic!

A miss from a beloved author

I hate to criticize anything someone spent so much time on, but this was not up standard from this author. The only reason I made it through the book was because I bought it. I even hated the narrator. I LOVE all her other work though which is why I hold her up to such a high standard. I felt like this was either her first book (which it could be) or she was on heavy pain medication. Again, I love all her other books so if you haven't read her before just pick something else and you will be happy.
