Carols journey is simply incredible. Thank you, Carol for sharing it with the world. As an amputee myself from Sumner, also with Friedly, Smith, and Greg as the superstars of my recovery, I loved hearing your perspective and your story. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This book is such a gift.

Inspirational
I recently was lucky enough to meet and listen to a speech by Carol at a conference in Atlanta, her story made me immediately buy this book. I am so happy I did, perspective is key, and this book helps to show everyone has struggles and ways you can get through.

Incredible, Inspiring, Moving
Such a heartbreaking and inspiring story all wrapped up together. I was moved, inspired, and felt so much of her life through this book. The narrator was very good and made the story come alive. Definitely well worth the read/listen to.
