Great audiobook

I truly enjoyed this audiobook and learned a lot. I have seen such a huge shift since COVID-19 on how students learn: The pandemic had such a huge impact on student and their mental health, but also how they learn. Online learning was quite restrictive and did not allow students to fully have a 'normal' school experience. This audiobook does a great job at giving recommendation and advice to parents on how to help their kid(s) to overcome learning-loss they might have had during the pandemic. alongside the academic aspect of this audiobook, I loved how the author, mentioned the importance of mental health for students and teenagers. I would highly recommend this audiobook to any parents who had a kid or kids having to do school remotely.

Teens need to feel ok to do ok

With all the challenges from the past few years, it's no wonder kids are struggling more than before. This book gets that learning isn't just about how smart you are - feelings matter too. Who would've thought feelings could boost grades? Teens needs to feel okay to do okay. The author knows what's up an you can feel the how much she cares caring coming through. If you have a teen that is struggling, I would look at this book and it's ideas. It would be a really good place to start.
