This is the origin story of how I became known on Tik-Tok as "Unkillable Positivity".

A survivor of Guillain Barre Syndrome, this is the walk that led me to Tik-Tok. This audiobook recounts the events that molded me into the man that lived in your phones.

Encouraged by friends and family that I had a story worth telling, I became a self-proclaimed autoimmune advocate on social media, whose ramblings captured the attention of fellow autoimmune, chronic illness, and chronic pain sufferers along the way. I shared my life on social media—the good, the bad, and the ugly—as a way to make others like me to feel not quite so alone. I struck a chord with more folks than I ever anticipated as the struggles that I shared were shared by the sick, by the caregivers and even by those who were not themselves ill, because struggle is a universal language, no matter the root cause. Because of this, I garnered more love and support than I could have ever imagined.

For those that have followed me on Tik-Tok, there are Easter Eggs throughout this autobiography, but rest assured there are many stories that were left untold on the app that are explored here.

A journey marked by more tragedy than triumph, but more than that, a journey that pushed me to seek a purpose behind the suffering. A need to do something positive with all the pain, to somehow use my struggles to be a force for good.

I loved the entire book, but I love his true love with Misty. I love he never gives up, no matter what comes at him healthwise.

Not only unkillable positivity, unbelievable positivity. I found Unkillable on Tik Tok after Transverse Myelitis took my father from me in 2022. My father was also a Celiac. As a healthcare worker myself on the front lines in a trauma center I see GBS patients and now have a whole new outlook on how to help them heal. Thanks for your over share, I am here for it.

Warrior!

I first found Stoney Pride on TikTok when he showed up on my fy page. After listening to him, I watched a few other posts. Immediate follow because he inspired me so much. The more I heard his stories the more I wanted to hear. I stayed up late at nights listening to his journey and it broke my heart that one soul could endure so much and remain so positive! I still look forward to his posts because he never fails to inspire me, especially on the days that seem to be a struggle. The cards life handed him and the unimaginable things he's endured continue to grow my respect for him. His story shines a bright light on the importance of having solid people in your life and so clearly confirms that finding just one shred of strength will get you through unimaginable trials.

I was excited to hear about this book and eagerly awaited the audio version. This book, his story, is gut wrenching! At times I was sad, mad, heart broken and terrified for him. I could feel all the emotions! I hope he knows he is admired by so many and how much he encourages everyone to be a force for good! Much respect to the man who has unkillable positivity!

I was deeply moved by this powerful and deeply personal memoir. The author’s journey through life’s most challenging moments—battling Guillain-Barré syndrome, enduring the heartbreak of losing his mother, navigating the complexities of marriage, and facing the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic—is nothing short of inspiring.

What struck me most was his unwavering determination and drive to keep moving forward, no matter how insurmountable the obstacles seemed. His vulnerability in sharing these struggles, coupled with his resilience, offers a profound message of hope and perseverance. As someone in the same profession, I found his perspective on balancing personal health crises with the demands of being a pharmacist during a global pandemic extremely relatable.

The audiobook narration adds a deeper level of intimacy to the story. Hearing the author’s voice, filled with both pain and triumph, made the experience even more impactful. His story is a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we have the strength to rise, adapt, and overcome.

I’ve been following and listening on social media for quite some time. The stories are raw and meaningful enough to make them extremely relatable. This book is the exact same way. We all have our journey and struggles, but when we hear about other people’s journeys and their perspectives… it makes ours seem a little more tolerable.

Amazing real life story of strength and perseverance mixed with a dose of humor. This is an excellent read. Knowing his voice is telling his own story speaks volumes in determination.

Amazing Story of Surviving Life's Struggles

Ordered the hardcover but had to purchase this one to hear the story told by the author. Great story about overcoming what life throws at you. Can't believe the postive, humorous personal on TickToc has been thru so much. Thank you so much for your Unkillable Positivity. The world needs so many more people like you.
