Forced to face the reality of Corporal Rose’s pregnancy, Captain Currie joins with his Marine Orderly securing her continued service aboard Unity. Following a visit of the Mollmon home World, Currie and crew set off to rescue Queen Brightstone from confinement in the Imperial dungeon below the palace walls in the Rigel System. This mission renews the conflict between two fleets contesting control of the galaxy. It is through this struggle that Currie and his new partner gain insight into the larger meaning of life and the importance to what is before them. Powered by this revelation, the bond between these two matures into something more powerful than the forces eager to tear them apart. When the Emperor secures a new ally, the size of the resulting Imperial Fleet promises to cast aside the ragtag formation of the Rebel Force in one final bid for galactic dominance. One destroyer stands against this leviathan force; the Unity answers the call.
