Unforgiven

Ok so for whatever reason when I tried to listen to this book before I just couldn’t get into it. But then this week I re-listened to Justified for the 100th time and couldn’t not start book 2 for as much as I like book 1 I had to give this one another shot.

SO glad I did.

Kody struck me as someone who didn’t need anyone or anything but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. She is just hurting and confused with her emotions. Hill bring out the worst in Kody because of the feeling he makes her feel.

Once she is truthful to herself and to Hill things change for the better.
I still love the relationship she and Shot have. I am glad she had him.
That ending… Oh man so glad I have the next book ready to go.

Also can we take a moment to acknowledge the narrators and how amazing they are. Seriously Virginia Rose KILLS it in these books like I want more of her please. And Austin Stone … his voice is lush I swear.

Jay Crownover once again hit it out off the park.

The characters draw you in and you can't put the book down.

There is headstrong and then there is stupid

The narration isn’t bad, but I’ve been mostly frustrated with the female main character throughout this book and I still have time left in the book. I’ll finish and I’ll keep the book. But it’s not the best Jay Crownover book I’ve ever read.

so glad to finally grab and get to listen to this on audible! i very much enjoyed this performance as well. Austin Stone was a great voice for Gamble and Virginia Rose, as always did a great job!

I can’t wait till October for the next book. This book was so freaking amazing. I binged it in a day and a half because it was so fantastic and creative. Hill and kodys story is amazing and I am so sad I have to wait till October to have the next story

all kinds of sexy

Jay crownover knows how to write a cowboy. Hill is all kind of rugged and Cody is all kinds of sassy. this story has at all sexyness some emotional sadness it is definitely worth the the listen the narrator's doing an excellent job with the story. they make you feel like you're right there and can't wait.
