Unexpected Invention

This story is about an unexpected invention. If a country discovers a miracle invention, their first priority isn't to monetize it or to use it for the growth of their country. Their first priority is to protect that secret from falling into the hands of enemy spies. Every country has a network of spies spread across the globe to gather secret information. They work with informants who compromise target's and gather information from them. These spies can be anyone. They can be the barista at the coffee shop you go to every morning, the well dressed business man who seems late for his meeting, or even a mom out for a walk with her kids.
