How to Survive Religious Trauma without Sacrificing Spirituality

Every person who has suffered religious trauma has a story to tell. Sometimes those stories may be hard to hear and even harder to tell. Healing can come both in the telling and the hearing. This book follows the experiences of an ordained Pentecostal minister as he navigates his way through the traumas associated with the religious context of his life as well as his coping with same-sex attraction in a religious context. The reader gains valuable insight into how religious traumas may occur and the effects they may have on their victims. Additionally, the author provides strategies for processing through one's own religious trauma and eventually finding peace which may include spiritual expression.
