I Couldn't Stop Listening

I am so glad I decided to buy this book on audible. Listening to this story through the authors voice made me feel connected to her journey. I could hear the strength and resolve change in her voice. This book is beautifully written with such bravery. I found myself experiencing many emotions. Throughout listening to this book I felt shock, joy, pain, and sorrow. All the details paint a picture so strong I felt like I was walking in this story with the author. Surprisingly I found such enjoyment in getting an education on the cultural norms shared in this book. What an honestly vulnerable read. Thank you for sharing your story.
