I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I thought it would be dry or overly philosophical, but it was actually really engaging. The narrator kept things steady, and the content felt like a genuine attempt to explore atheism without being combative. As someone still figuring out what I believe, this gave me language and ideas I hadn’t considered before. It didn’t try to convert—it just offered perspective. I finished it feeling more curious, not more confused, which is a win in my book.

Although I’m rather leaning towards spirituality, i thought the author did a good job laying out the concepts without being too aggressive or dismissive. Gave me a lot to think about.

A lot of people won’t like this book but I enjoyed understanding the origins of how atheism came into existence and why people don’t believe in God. Regardless of what you believe in it is interesting to understand the basis, why people believe the way they do, why they do believe in and how they communicate with people their beliefs.

I feel this book should be read by people who embrace religion. It would help them to understand why others may reject organised religion and belief in God. The book presents the subject clearly and logically, straight to the point and without the fluff. I think it’s an honest presentation and if you have an open mind this book will spark reflection and conversation.
