The plot's eccentricities naturally include love and romance and, crucially, three imposters. Add to the cocktail some 'Mickey Finn's', a brace of financially embarrassed nephews and a private investigator, 'Mustard Pott'.
As the mixture boils there are shot guns in the night time - plus redoubtable Lady Constance, Emsworth's sister, who could halt a cavalry charge merely with her voice. A happy and appropriate ending is of course on the cards.

Had a great time with this
This was my first exposure to P.G. Wodehouse and therefore my first visit to Blandings Castle as well, and I enjoyed it enough that I'm looking for more. I thought the reading by Jarvis wonderful with all the voice characterizations he brings to it. At first, not being familiar with the people and doings at Blandings Castle, I thought the story was a bit slow developing, but it gained great momentum as it proceeds through all the funny complications of the story.

why would they add unrelated books at the end?
I love PG Wodehouse and enjoyed this reading! but they tacked on almost two hours of random other books at the end of this recording.
