Four months after Ben disappeared through the portal to his home universe, Janelle believes she'll never see him again. Her world is still devastated, but civilization is slowly rebuilding, and life is starting to resume some kind of normalcy—until Interverse Agent Taylor Barclay shows up, asking for Janelle's help. Somebody from an alternate universe is running a human-trafficking ring—kidnapping people and selling them on different Earths. And Ben, with his unique abilities, is the prime suspect. Now his family has been imprisoned and will be executed if Ben doesn't turn himself over within five days. When Janelle learns that someone she cares about—someone from her own world—has become one of the missing, she knows that she has to help Barclay, regardless of the danger.
Now Janelle has five days to track down the real culprit. Five days to locate the missing people before they're lost forever. Five days to reunite with the boy who stole her heart. But as the clues begin to add up, Janelle realizes that she's in way over her head—and that she may not have known Ben as well as she thought. Can she uncover the truth before everyone she cares about is killed?
In this heart-pounding sequel to Unraveling, author Elizabeth Norris explores the sacrifices we make to save the people we love and the worlds we'll travel to find them.

People are going missing, more being abducted, and assistant junior FBI assistance Jannell is feeling the heat to find out why. The story builds fast. Her style of short punchy chapters is back (which I like) and so is the countdown clock (which I don’t). You’ll have to read for yourself what it all means this time – again. But I think you will be pleased with the story. Katie Schorr narrates this teen novel. She did a great job in book one and she doesn’t miss a beat in book two.
This teen novel will appeal to everyone and it’s appropriate for the young teen as well. There are no grizzly accounts but enough suspense for everyone. I highly recommend the 11 hours of listening; it goes real fast.
The countdown is back! A must read sequel

Awesome YA series that Adults can easily enjoy as well. I'm kinda picky about my YA novels, as I only have a special handful I'd consider as my Favorites. Being a reader in my late-30's, it takes a special mixture in YA story-lines to keep me really interested. – These books are both great! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!A MUST OWN SEQUEL!! – I'm addicted!

If you could sum up Unbreakable in three words, what would they be?
Suspensful. Entralling. Genius. What other book might you compare Unbreakable to and why?
I really can't compare it to another book for a few reasons. 1. It's very intelligently written. It's not just for young adults, I think anyone could find this book interesting. 2. There are so many different concepts in this book that I was worried they'd get lost, but it all worked and all made sense. 3. The protagonist was strong throughout the series. She never seemed to give up or feel sorry for herself. Yes she had issues with her parents, but I loved her strong character and her refusal to quit. However, I found this series on a list of books similar to the Lunar Chronicles. I think they were very different but I'd still highly recommend the Lunar Chronicles if you haven't read them yet.
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked a lot of scenes, I liked the idea of the characters hopping between worlds so easily. I did enjoy the prison scene, it was very descriptive. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
When everything goes wrong..Any additional comments?
Amazing. So worth the read and the listen. I have a feeling I'll be reading this book again soon. This series is so good!
