good

good, could be better. very brusque, short sentence paragraphs. with little flow. good little story just thin.

It’s pretty good

Starts stronger than it finishes but along the way it was a fun story with quite a few interesting characters and situations that they find themselves in

Still not sure about this one

I really enjoyed the premise of the story, and thought the magic system was interesting. The MC's relationships and interactions throughout the book are also well done. The dialogue is the only real downside, and although it is distracting is not a dealbreaker for the next book. Every conversation is basically 'that's a great question' or'wow, you are amazing'. The only other issue is the combat. You have no sense of time or space with how it is occurring. Overall, I recommend this one for light listening or background noise.

fairly basic story but good overall

the authors other series are better in my opinion. story was basic, told well but no twists or turns or much excitement tbh. not bad but not really good either. I'll probably pick up the other books in the series at some point but they're not high on my wish list

not what I was expecting

I was hoping for a decent isekai, but this more about music than swords & magic

characters are not believable or relatable. and are exceedingly chill about what is going on around him, no mystery

fight scenes should have matched the sex....

I wish he would have put the same effort into the rest of the book as he did into the sex scenes..

not worth it

horrible narrorator. i read the book when it came out and i liked it. but wow is this bad. totally 1 dimentional

meh

the story line was a little weird to follow, almost like a young adult (13-14 years of age ish) story line with adult content. There were times while listening that I was asking myself "okay, but why?" do to world mechanics, the choice of main character being chosen to do his role by the other characters, and story progression based off of assumptions from characters that were so blatant that it wasn't even funny.

Repetitive questions and a page filler

the main Character is so repetitive he asked the same questions over and over and over again I get you're trying to get the information across but If you have the main character asked the same questions again and again within the same like 5 page span you're just repeating yourself and trying to buff up your book with words lets it
