This was a very well written story…. A story many of us are already familiar with, but with a twist that really makes you feel like you’re a part of the conversations. It was as if I was in the room with each person as the events took place!

Also, Caleb is an incredible story teller, and you can feel that joy in his words!

Historical fiction is a tough genre. In essence you have to take something your reader may know (and know very well in this case) and keep it engaging, entertaining and true to the source material. Caleb Backholm has definitely done that. This book will be read many times in my house, a wonderful picture of the two most important weeks in history
