It is time for black Americans to rise and take control of their destiny.

• Black Americans are not without resources.
• They are 48-50 million strong with two trillion dollars in their collective hands.
• If they were a nation, they would be the tenth-wealthiest nation in the world.
• The problem is not the lack of resources; it is the lack of organization and unity of purpose.

Black people have an opportunity in this 21st Century to become a people of socioeconomic power needed to control their own institutions and destiny. They have undergone two emancipations and have one more to go which is the decolonization of their minds to create a different reality in the future than they have had in the past. No one can do this for black Americans; they must do this for themselves. There is no doubt they have the power within their collective hands to cancel their captivity. To cancel their captivity, their minds must undergo mental emancipation to break from the shackles of their oppression.
