basic story made worse by bad narrator

this book was nothing too crazy, not AMAZING but not terrible either. However, the narrator’s voice was genuinely insufferable and really made the whole experience far less pleasant than it had to be.

Narration

Ugh, painful to listen to! Story was good but the narration took away from the story line.

Predictable but good

I liked the story, but became annoyed by the drawing out of certain words done by the narrator.

It just ended?

Did the author run out of time? It ended so abruptly.
Is this the same person wrote ‘Love and other words’?

Didn't enjoy narration

I tried to finish, but the narrator had (to my ear) a really annoying habit of weirdly stretching out the last syllables/sounds of some words. I returned the audiobook and will get the ebook. Others may not even notice it, but I couldn't get past it.
