Clara Cassidy and Samael returned to Crossedlake University after a brief respite from the chaos at the end of last semester; they found that things had changed. The school was on lock-down, Corbin was missing, and they were under suspicion.

Clara and her friends did their best to keeps things quiet so they could figure out who they could trust, but it wasn't as easy as they hoped. Things only become more complicated as Clara started receiving cryptic notes from Corbin. Notes sent to her from the path of death.

To make matter worse, Clara had found herself at the top of Xavier's hit-list after showing him up in ice magic. Not only did she have to fight for her life against an unknown assailant, she had to fight for her life in class.

Truths Revealed (Crossedlake University Book 2) ~ This sequel doesn’t waste time—it throws you right back into the chaos at Crossedlake. Clara and Sameal are dealing with lockdowns, missing friends, and dark suspicions, and you can feel the tension climbing higher with every chapter. I appreciated how this book deepens the mystery around Corbin and shows that Crossedlake isn’t the safe haven Clara hoped it would be. There’s betrayal, shocking truths, and more emotional weight on Clara’s shoulders. The pacing really worked for me—it balanced action with character development, and I especially loved the way Clara starts realizing how much bigger this fight is than just her. By the end, so many truths had been laid bare, but instead of relief, it left me with that “oh no, things are only getting worse” feeling. Exactly what I want in the middle book of a series. I absolutely loved the book and I listened to the audible book.  I am not a fan of virtual voice, but this one is not bad.  Definitely recommend this series !!
