Christian Theme Romance - Short But Very Good

When they were 12 years old and playing a game of Truth or Dare with their friends, nerdy, Mark Robinson dared beautiful Cheyenne to marry him when they were 30. If she cared, she would ask him to marry her.

Fast forward a couple of decades and Cheyenne is a supermodel who returns to her hometown after finding out an awful secret.

Mark is surprised to see her at church, in their little hometown. But he is happy as can be.

Cheyenne tries to find a life after being a supermodel, as she is getting older and the models are getting younger. She returns to her hometown to try to figure some things out.

The big question is, will either of them remember the dare from when they were 12 years old? Are either of them of them already in a relationship as Cheyenne was?

Enjoy their antics as well as the antics of their friends in this cute, short novel.

This book was performed by the author. She did a good job and I am pleased with it.

What about Giselle Lumas’s performance did you like?

Lumas didn't get in the way of the characters of the plot with her performance. This is a hard skill to master.

Truth or Dare: A Love Story

A tale of when your adult life catches up with your childhood, or was it the other way around. Cute, clean cut (for the most part) characters finding their path in life.

Narration was good, and recording quality better than other audio books by same author. It was much easier to listen to this recording.

Enchanting!

Cheyenne, Reggie, Maggie and Mark have been friends forever. One summer they played truth or dare and one dare carried more weight than the others. Mark dared Cheyenne to marry him on his 30th birthday. Now that it's coming up, will it work out if Mark and Chey aren't even speaking? This is a cute story with a few setbacks, but it turns out as it should. I really enjoyed Mark and Chey's journey from friends to enemies to friends and to lovers, but what I didn't like was the wannabe other woman in the form of Mark's client. Their dinner dates were a little uncomfortable and I really wanted Mark to get a talking to after his second date with the girl in the red dress. A very good story that I highly recommend.The narration is wonderfully done by Giselle Lumas, the author. Her dynamic, well-modulated and paced voice brought emotion to the characters and gave them their own personality and attitude.
