Suspenseful, Unsettling, and Too Close to Reality

I think we're all aware of the huge place our society has given media, especially social media, in shaping, even scripting, our cultural reality. I'm betting most also would say it's hard to know truth from falsehood amid information overload. "Truth" reminded me how easily we can succumb to psychological manipulation, especially as children like 14 year old Juniper as the book ends. It reminded me that not many will believe the truth or take time to investigate. I'm glad I listened to this book. I'm grateful for the real world Calebs who fight to defend truth. I highly recommend Truth as a thriller and study in mind control. This book does not disappoint!

Amazing thriller

Is this a true story??? It sure feels like it could be. This is a great thriller that blends high-stakes conspiracy, psychological tension, and thought-provoking questions about memory, media, and control. I only wish it was completely based on fiction lol.

fun to read

A fun read with very engaging storyline. I can't wait for part two as the plot thicken and leaving me wanting more. Good read to get your mind of stuff while driving long distance.

Simply Great

This book grabs you from the first scene and doesn’t let up. Linda Sanchez builds a paranoid thrill ride where a crisis fixer (Caleb) stumbles into a conspiracy that rewires what “truth” even means with memory hacks, weaponized media, and whispers that make you check your locks. It’s fast, tense, and smarter than the average technothriller; the twists land because the psychology feels real. The narration is on point...Bottom line: if you like Black Mirror / Mr. Robot energy, political intrigue, mind games, and moral knots...you’ll love this.

A Psychological Mind Bender

Man, this was a great listen... I flew through the chapters because the suspense just ratcheted up constantly. Watching the fixer character get completely tangled up in a high stakes hidden war, involving memory manipulation and strange broadcasts, was really engaging. The cinematic production value definitely heightened the sense of paranoia and unease as he struggles to figure out what’s real. If you enjoy a twisty psychological thriller where every version of the truth is suspect, you should absolutely dive into this one.

I liked most is how Linda Sanchez weaves a story full of suspense, conspiracies, and moral dilemmas, keeping you constantly guessing what is real and what is manipulated. Truth is a smart, compelling start to The Redacted Series, and I’m eager to see what comes next.

This book hooked me from the very first line. The tension is instant — eerie, quiet, and unsettling in all the right ways. Caleb, the crisis fixer, feels like the perfect protagonist for this kind of psychological thriller: sharp, confident, and just a little too good at hiding the truth.

Thrilling

Listening to this audiobook honestly made me feel like I was looking over my own shoulder the whole time. There’s something about Caleb’s situation about getting sucked into a conspiracy so much bigger than him. I do love conspiracies but it make me feel super paranoid. I found myself pausing a few times just to process, which doesn’t happen often for me with thrillers. The narration brought out all the tension and anxiety in Caleb’s character. It’s so good that I actually felt tense myself. If you like thrillers that get under your skin and linger after you finish, this one’s going to leave an impression.
