So you are on your Caribbean honeymoon, which happens to correspond with the bride’s birthday. So what does the groom do when his cute wife decides it would be funny to smear birthday cake on his nose?
Well, he warns her not to do it again, unless she would like to experience a birthday spanking when they get back to their cottage. Or, as he explains, it would be a real spanking that just happens to take place on her birthday. Of course, the bride takes on the challenge. And she finds out that evening that nothing excites her more. So a new element is added to the marriage.
But when they go home, Kara finds out that her husband Michael is dealing with much too much stress in his position as assistant principal at the high school from which he graduated. The school has just ended corporal punishment, and students have been difficult to control.
So Kara decides that there is only one solution: Michael should give her a paddling whenever he comes home after a day when he would have wanted to administer corporal punishment to a young woman.

Amy Walters is a 45-year-old experiencing the “empty nest syndrome”. The divorced woman has just dropped her youngest daughter off at college, and now not even her job as the Director of the business association in the small city of Blakemore, Texas can keep her mind fully occupied.
