Sparkle is back on the scene and has a newfound love. Ontavious is all that she's ever wanted. He has good looks, a great career, and a humble spirit. Unlike her ex, he's the type of man who she believes can hold her down and remain faithful. After finding the man of her dreams, she's suddenly faced with a situation that could cause her to lose everything she's built with him. Because of Sparkle's new secret, she has to make a decision on whether she wants to continue moving on with her new man or resolve the issues with her ex, Sayveon. When her troubles overwhelm her, Sparkle tries to be strong, but it's not easy. Stephanie, the older sister of Sparkle, is proud to say that she's drug free. After living on some of the most drug infested streets of Jackson, Mississippi, she's now ready to start a new life and be the mother she hasn't been to her two boys. She's hyped about starting her new life. Although she tries to run from her past, it chases her and tests her strength. Stephanie has to deal with several issues that will make or break her. This survivor of drug abuse finds herself in a predicament where she's fighting for her life. Hopefully, she's strong enough to make it through. Sayveon, the Boss, is back and more trifling than ever.

Book hood. Narrator horrible

The book itself was good, but the narrator was horrible. She made me just want to physically read it myself

The narrators reading, mispronouncing words, talking in a tone that just didn’t fit the story, COMPLETELY over doing the male voices, over doing it so much that I just couldn’t bare to listen at times. Next time I’ll just read on my kindle.

When I realized that she was the same voice of the girl on Nickelodeon

Yes I have. It shows the range of personalities she can present.

I'm looking forward to hearing more of her pieces.

Terrible Reader!

I liked the story, but the reader was ridiculously overdramatic. Her reading was extremely annoying.

liked the first booked, the narrator irritated me on the second one.

Did not read print version. This audio purchased because of my admiration of narrator's talent

An ability to bring the characters to life in a way that eyes reading words could never do.

Not wasting my time on it.

No just this author and narrator.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Hillary Hawkins?

Someone who can portray the characters in this genre much better. She would do well if she read a book requiring softer tones.

The book is called Trifling 2 and it lives up to the name.

This might be the first book I feel so strongly about. I usually enjoy the "adventure" of a book. Do not look for that in this book.

Ugh!!!!! TERRIBLE Narrator!!!!!

Hillary Hawkins needs to be FIRED!!!! Should've chosen a different Narrator. She ruined this story!!!!!!!!!

The narrator took away from the story...hopefully she will use the narrator from the first book moving forward

RUBBISH!!

Book two was a total waste of time, it was largely due in part to the reader , to say she was horrible is much too kind. I would not recommend this book to anyone. No plot, just random and graphic sex scenes, and name brand boasting. Book 1 was not nearly as bad. This , however was garbage.
