My favorite day of the year had come, and I couldn't wait. My sister and I waited all year for one day. No matter how busy our lives were, we put everything aside, and we threw a Halloween party together. It had been our tradition since we were little girls. They'd started out small, but as time went on, they grew, each one being better than the last. We went from our parent's house, to our small apartment, to the big, beautiful home my sister shared with her new husband. When I woke up that morning, I was more excited than I'd ever been. Not only was I heading over to spend the day with my sister, decorating and getting things ready for the best night of the year, but I was about to do it all without having to see her irritating brother-in-law. The man was a douche, and every single time I was there, he was too. That wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't feel the need to pick on me every single second he was around. Just the thought of him infuriated me and had my skin crawling, but that didn't matter. He wasn't going to be there, and that alone made my whole day. With a smile on my face the entire time, I decorated, danced, and laughed with my sister. It was absolutely perfect. Once we were both dressed and ready, we looked over what we had accomplished. It was going to be our best party yet, a night that I'd never forget, and nothing was going to screw that up. Then I met him...
