Sawyer is finally where she belongs. She got accepted to the college of her dreams and she won’t let anything get in the way of that. It’s going to be a year of around the clock studying. No parties, no football games, and definitely no boys. She even has a master plan to get to Myrtle Beach early so she can get all of that fun stuff out of her system before the fall semester starts. Nothing will take this opportunity, this place, from her.

Noah is just struggling to get by. Ever since his mom died, he’s been trying his best to stay afloat. He has no time for romance. He has no desire for a relationship. Not after everything that has happened. Not after seeing what’s on the other side of love. His summer plans include working, taking an online course or two, paying down the bills, and trying to spend as little time at home as possible.

But when these two meet, they can’t deny the sparks between them. Can they come together and find something they didn't even know they were looking for? Or continue to tread through life with their minds closed off to possibility?
