Kim was a picture of stability. She had a stable job as a nurse, a stable marriage and a stable life or so she thought. When her husband abruptly divorces her and moves on quickly, Kim felt the rug being pulled from under her feet.

Kim thought that she had everything that anyone could ever want in life. Now, her life is turned upside-down and to escape her old life, she accepts a job as a traveling nurse where she travels to New Mexico.

Kim packs her remaining belongings in her small car and travels to the other side of the country where she finds a dog. She meets the quirky long-haired advnturer Ken and her athletic leasing manager, Colby.

She goes on an adventure of a lifetime exploring deserts, hiking, trying out new cuisines. And she's opening up to the idea of dating again. Will she choose Ken or will she choose Colby?
