Transported

Josiah Smith had to poach to support the family he lived with in Victorian England. He was very good at what he did. A lot of poachers were caught and left swinging from the nearest tree. Luckily when he was caught the law had changed and he was transported instead. He survived the voyage when others perished but the prison was no picnic, especially as the goaler liked children in the worst way and Josiah was only 12.
