Acerca de esta escucha
Ah, so here we are—walking each other home, as always. But this time, the journey begins not with us, but with a child: Vusi, an unassuming soul with a luminous mark above his heart, placed not randomly but precisely by the universe, as if to whisper, "Remember."
From the jagged cliffs of a sacred mountain, Vusi arrives at the Zen Dragon Temple—a space that is less a building and more a reflection of consciousness itself. Within its walls, masters and initiates dedicate their lives to uncovering the great truth: the unity of the finite and the infinite. They train their bodies, quiet their minds, and listen for the eternal hum of oneness that exists beneath all the noise.
Yet, like all of us, Vusi doesn’t step onto his path without resistance. He stumbles. He questions. He wrestles with the illusion of separation—the belief that he is just a body, just a boy, just one of many. It is this illusion, this fog of ego and fear, that the spirit of the Zen Dragon teaches him to surrender. And oh, how resistant the ego can be! But the surrender is not an act of weakness; it is an act of profound strength. For in letting go of the small self, the vastness of the eternal Self is revealed.
Along the way, Vusi meets guides, mirrors of his own journey: Master Quan, whose wisdom flows like the wind, both gentle and unrelenting; Elder Mei, the temple historian, whose eyes see beyond time; and Kai, a fellow initiate whose duality as a child of both the village and the temple reflects the balance Vusi must learn to embody.
Through their teachings, and through his own quiet moments of stillness, Vusi begins to peel back the veils that obscure the truth. The truth is this: we are not these forms. We are not these stories. We are not these fears. We are the light that moves through them, the awareness that watches them rise and fall.
