Touch Not the Lord’s Anointed

Too many times, the Biblical command to not touch God's anointed is taken out of context. Unfortunately, it has been used to silence critics, end conflict and justify an otherwise indefensible position or abusive ministry as untouchable. This has resulted in entirely too much abuse, mismanagement and bad theology in the Body of Christ. When taken in its proper context, this passage from Psalm 105 is not addressing professional clergy at all!
