Quintessential Floridiana

This book series should be mandatory listening for anyone considering relocating to Florida.
Florida isn't the shiny, happy postcard crap that gets sent to Sheboygan on a postcard. The seedy underbelly is alive and well and part of what makes this state spectacular. The author is fully aware of this and uses his experience as a Tampa journalist for inspiration. Some of the capers are far-fetched; but in Florida, they're not out of the realm of possibility.

Comedy Masterpiece

The most hilarious book I have ever read.
The comedy is silent ,it catches you by surprise
so that you have to go back to read it again.
Serge is hilarious and his sidekick.
If you don't have a sense of humor you may miss a lot.
George wilson is the very best narrator out there.
Bar None especially in torpedo Juice.
I will read this again and again which is not
my usual.

Serge and Coleman....what can I say? Florida is so weird. Want to go to there

Funny at times but no real storyline

I love the characters and the reader is excellent but there really isn't much of a story here. It's just random scenes in the Florida Keys that really don't ever come together to make sense. I did get some good laughs out of the characters though.

Enjoy it

This is a chance to take a mental vacation into a world of complicated characters. I enjoyed the book.

Walk the dog

We all have a little (or a lot) of Serge in us or at least we know someone who could trigger us up to that level. This is a very funny book - read it while walking the dog!

Another great Dorsey book. This time in the Keys. Can not say much - Serge is at it again.

Great book. Awesome series. This author has a fantastic ability to tell an everyday story. Narrator was thoroughly enjoyable!

Fun chaos

some good rants and bad guy comeuppance. won't change your life but in keeping with the rest of the series in not taking itself too seriously.
