Amazing!

It is simply amazing how you can find healing while listening to someone else’s story. This book is so full of heart felt emotional healing. It’s incredible how someone can lay out their story so bare and raw for others. I can’t wait to listen to this book again. Thank you Rebecca.

Rebecca Garifo is a clever dame

You start out rooting for her at the very beginning until the very end when she flips the switch and makes you realize you’ve been rooting for yourself the whole time. Superb writing and narration.

Absolutely amazing!!

From the first sentence until the very last sentence I was savoring every word. There were many times that I was laughing and crying at the same time. Nodding my head saying YES! I have felt this way too! Dr Garifo is simply amazing! I stumbled across Empath Alchemy podcast over a year ago. From the very first podcast I knew I had found someone that I resonated with deeply on many levels. I never miss a podcast. I always look forward to the topic of the week. The podcasts speak to my soul. <3 Here too I am often shaking my head, YES! YES! I have felt this way so many times. It is comforting to know that you are not the only one. Thank you Dr. Garifo for your words and wisdom, You are a bright light in an often dark world. Bless up! <3

Yes! All the feels!

This book hits every level! Rebecca’s voice is fantastic to listen to and her story is so powerful! I have listened to this twice and found something new each time. I don’t care what you believe in as far as God goes, if you at all have ever been called too sensitive, too this too that, for whatever reason that may be. This book is for you!

I laughed, I cried and I absolutely fell in love. Quite literally will change your life.

I’m not sure how this can feel so different and so eerily similar all at the same time. It’s an amazing book, told very well.

A perfect companion for your own healing journey

Dr. Rebecca’s own honest account of her life and of her struggle to be honest with herself has been an absolute gift for me as I go through my own recovery and reexamine the relationships where I believed I was the problem. Some days, I feel absolutely insane, but Rebecca’s story in this audiobook and in her podcast consistently remind me that I’m not alone and to keep going. You'll wish you could be her friend IRL!

I love when author's read their own books. This memoir is more honest and raw than I've read on a long time. No matter how heavy the subject, Rebecca keeps you laughing the whole time. I was sad when it ended cause I wouldn't be able to hang out with her anymore.

Great book & great narration by the author

The author skillfully told the story of her truth and she narrated it in the audiobook with different voices for different people. I was riveted. Her messages really would connect to anyone who has had a run in with a narcissist or experienced childhood abuse. I finished this thinking how much I wanted to read more from her.

Would recommend.
