Cliffhanger warning

Thankfully all of the books are out though so I can pick up the next book to find out what happens. I am a bit confused though because this ends on a cliff hanger but the next book is Bullseye's and tongue's next book isn't for 2 more books so how that can happen is confusing. Maybe I should read tongue's next book then go to bull's eyes I'm not sure yet. Either way this book was every thing we have expected from this series, sexy, full of emotions and so darn good!! I highly recommend this series. You just can't stop once you start

A Love Worth Fighting For

Wow! This book continues Tongue and Daphne is story. You will experience all the emotions from laughter to tears. The love that they share is one that they are willing to go to the ends of the earth for. I can't wait for more of their story. The narration by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden bring their voices to life. (Review by Lori Zakrzewski)

Narrators Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell once again bring Tongue and Daphne to life with their interpretations of the characters. (Especially in the Prologue for Maxine and Chapter 11 for Joe). While listening to the story you really feel the raw emotions of the characters thanks to these two talented performers.

If you like your romance a little dark and twisty, the love between the characters intense, and an ending that will have you on edge, then it's your turn to take a ride.

Tongue and Daphne are back!!!

Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are back once again as Tongue and Daphne’s story continues! First, I love how the same narrators are back to continue on this second story. To me, that helps me as I listen because they gave the characters their voices the first time and helps me fall right back in to their world as the book begins. Joe and Maxine’s voices are perfect for Tongue and Daphne! Joe’s has a raspy sound, which fits Tongue (especially because of something that happened to him in his past and Maxine’s voice is strong but changes flawlessly to fit the many emotional experiences Daphne has throughout this book. Tongue and Daphne each have traumatic pasts but this is all about Daphne and her trying to figure out the reality of what really happened in her past. Joe and Maxine did an amazing job on this book! They drew me in completely as the story is being told and you can really feel the emotions the characters are experiencing (especially the steamy scenes)! Another audiobook success in the Ruthless Kings series!

My favorite Ruthless King and his Comet!

This Book! This Book! I absolutely loved this story so much that I had a book hangover when I was finished. Tongue is 100% ALL Alpha, and is my favorite character out of the Ruthless Kings MC, and I totally fell in love with his dark, twisted, but innocent soul from the first book. Tongues Target is the continuation of Tongue and Daphne’s unique and and very powerful love story. This Novella dove into each of their pasts, and we found out so much about what both of them went through in their pasts. My heart was breaking for Tongue throughout this whole book, I felt for him, was deeply sad for him. I felt for Daphne as she discovered things about her past, and I felt her pain and also how deep and strong her love is for Tongue. It’s very sexy at times, their relationship is somewhat based on their equal love for being sexually turned on by violence. In true KL fashion I was shocked several times at the twists and turns, and at very shocking moments! Reapers retribution almost killed me.. I could only imagine what was going through Tongues mind when Daphne could not remember him, or their life together.
Joe Arden’s narration of Tongue once again killed me in the best way with his ability to make me feel all the feelings that Tongue was experiencing. All the heartache, guilt, anger, confusion, and pure love. I was right there with them. Joe’s performance of Tongue is one of my favorites, and I appreciate how well he does this character justice. He’s superb!
Maxine Mitchell, well she also had me feeling all the feelings Daphne was going through. As this book dives into Daphnes past, she had more dialogue. With this character that’s this complex, she was just fantastic on keeping you engaged from beginning to the end. I love Maxine as Daphne, such a great choice for FM. Joe and Maxine are perfect in this, I appreciate them both for an amazing performance.
This one definitely has a cliffhanger, and I am eager to see how this story plays out.

Cliffhanger UGH!

This is such a good series. I hate that I have to wait until I can listen to the rest of the story. Tongue is such a unique character. He does feel things like normal people except when it comes to Daphne. She has changed him and he learning how to understand his emotions and those of others but he still has those killer instincts especially when it comes to Daphne. Of all the men, I think Tongue/Wayne loves harder. There is no denying how he feels about Daphne nor how how she feels about him. You can feel the electrifying feeling between the two and that is what makes an author and the narrators great. Definitely worth the credit or money spend. I just wished I didn't have to wait so long for the rest of the story and the stories of the remaining Ruthless Kings.
