Clean romance

A great clean romance without the sex scenes and bad language. I love how she added scripture.

Sweet

Just a sweet story of mail order bride and an orphan farmer who longs for a true family and finds both in one women with 8 siblings in tow.

Mixed Feelings About the Audio Performance

The story itself was enjoyable, but the female performer portraying the main female character significantly affected my listening experience. Her delivery felt very flat and monotone, with little variation in intonation or emotion. Rather than bringing the character to life, it often sounded as though she was simply reading the lines from the page. In contrast, the male performer was much more expressive and engaging, making the difference in performance especially noticeable. I wanted to love this audiobook, but the female narration made it difficult for me to connect with the story.

Can we get better narrators

I couldn’t listen to this book because the narrator was bad. I don’t even know if the book has a good story line. I couldn’t listen to it for another minute
