After getting unfairly downsized, Tommy meets April, the girl of his dreams, when she accidentally runs his bicycle off the road. They seem made for each other. But when he over-indulges in taking prescription medication for a cycling injury, he comes down with an unusual condition for a man - yeast infection.
Tommy has to choose between hiding his embarrassing situation to prepare for a big race, or coming clean with April to grow their budding relationship. The dilemma threatens to derail not only his new romance, but also his once in a lifetime shot at making it to the pros.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
The audio quality was different depending on the character speaking....particularly Tommy's character. If I could change that, it would be to have consistent sound quality throughout. If you’ve listened to books by Will Lewis before, how does this one compare?
This is my first book by Will Lewis. What does Anna Tyrie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The story was difficult for me to follow, at first, due to the heavy accent. After a few minutes, however, I was able to follow the story line just fine. Was Tommy Has a Yeast Infection for Females worth the listening time?
It was worth it. I love audiobooks and this was an "easy" and carefree storyline.Any additional comments?
My favorite part of the book was the pharmacy scene. I could picture the scene in my mind and literally laughed out loud!Interesting Listen

It's super endearing listening to Tommy and April start to reveal themselves to each other and fall in love. What does Anna Tyrie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her accent is wonderful and wry and relaxing! You can easily escape listening to her voice.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Where does Tommy Has a Yeast Infection for Females rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Tommy Has a Yeast Infection for Females may not be number one, but still would rank among the top audio books that I've heard due to the intuitive story line. What other book might you compare Tommy Has a Yeast Infection for Females to and why?
Off hand I cannot think of a specific tale that I find Tommy Has a Yeast Infection aligns with. However, it does follow the precedential mold of romantic comedies that came before it: A guy wants a girl, there is an obstacle keeping him from the girl, he does not confront the obstacle head on or is dishonest about the obstacle with himself or others, s*** hits the fan, she forgives him, and they live happily ever after.Have you listened to any of Anna Tyrie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first performance by Anna Tyrie. Although I believe as a performer she did a great job, I did slightly wonder the significance of the accent she chose to use in the narration. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The most moving point in the book is in the final race when disaster befalls his childhood bully, and Tommy is faced with the choice of finishing the race to take the gold or to help someone who would not have reciprocated the same selfless act.Any additional comments?
Very cute story, almost meant for the big screen!A Romantic Comedy worth reading!

Would you listen to Tommy Has a Yeast Infection for Females again? Why?
Yes, I enjoyed the story and while it was clear first time around it would be fun to revisit some months down the line.Who was your favorite character and why?
Tommy was great - initially I thought he was going to be a bit of a one dimensional "loser" type but he quickly became more complex and interesting. He is human and, while mostly fallible, he is kind and genuine and switched on in his own way.Have you listened to any of Anna Tyrie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but I certainly will. She was easy to listen and kept the pace of the story and remained unobtrusive to it while ensuring it was interesting to listen to. Her voice kept a great variety in it and was never boring or predictable. I thought using a different accent as the narrator helped separate her from the characters too.Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Of course, the moment when Tommy is riding up the last inclines of the final race and feels he can't carry on and sees April standing there and she smiles her "genuine" smile.Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed the story and never wondered when it would was going to end. The pace kept up throughout and the combination of a great cast and narrator kept me in the story all the way through. All characters were really well played and well differentiated. The story was funny and uplifting. I look forward to the next one!Funny, Interesting and Great Pace
