Great children’s story

Listened to this with my 1 year old, mostly for me since he doesn’t know what’s going on currently lol. But I will 100% listen to it again with him when he’s older. I hope the story has a continuation.

The concept of a sentient toaster had our young listener (age 5) filled with giggles and yearning for more silly creations from Toby and Max.

Erin Grassie's narration was very engaging. The fluctuations in character voices and changes of tone used throughout helped to deliver a fun adventure.

The book allowed for some interesting conversations within our family. Between chapters we would stop and discuss what we would do if we were in the story. The only complaint my young listener had was he wanted more. We hope to see Dash Shearer publish a sequel one day so we can continue Toby's adventure.

Our young listener gave it two thumbs up when asked for a review.
