When the chaos of the Klondike Gold Rush faded away in the early 1900's, Alaska was left in a state of unsettled relief. This was when Theodore Hubback entered in search of another treasure--the trophies of the upper Kuskokwim.

Finding what he came for in the World-Class Moose, Caribou, and Dall Sheep, Hubback sometimes also got more than he bargained for. With early blizzards and treacherous rivers, they were fortunate to make it back out of country with the majority of their belongings.
