Completely adorkable

This is a completely adorkable (adorably dorky) story. It almost felt like a time travel book (which I usually don't like) with the flash backs to the dreams, but it still worked so well. Simon is a quintessential nerd complete with DnD and a computer programming job. Adri's character was amazingly relatable. It was nearly Hallmark movie sweet.

What kept me from getting cavities was the narrators. Their performances were so great. They really brought the characters to life and were able to develop genuine sounding and feeling emotion. There are a lot of laugh out loud moments that were perfectly delivered by the narrators. I can't say much for the pacing because I listened to it at 1.2 speed, but at that speed it was perfect for me.

Such a cute, fun CLEAN romance!

This book was so cute! Such a fun read for anyone looking for a sweet romance/chill read. The audio book was great, I loved the female narrator's voice, it sounded like she was smiling the whole time she read it. Full of lovable characters that are very enjoyable to read about. If you're looking for a book that will fill you with joy--this is it!

A fun, feel-good story! Worth a binge-listen.

I downloaded this one about 10 am and listened to it every opportunity I had. I would have listened to it straight through if I had been able because I was enjoying it so much. As it was, I listened until 2:30 am, and then I started it up again almost immediately after I was awake in the morning.

This is a hopeless romantic's kind of book. There are parts of the story that made me literally laugh out loud and parts of the story that made me cry. The plot inspires the best kind of willing suspension of disbelief. There are plot twists and near misses worthy of the best Meg Ryan movies. The characters are quirky and likeable, the type of people you'd like to have as friends. It was delightful to disconnect from the world and dream along with Adri and Simon for awhile.

Liz Christensen and Todd Wente do a great job narrating the audio book. Their voices match the main characters well at every age, and the secondary characters are also distinct and well executed.

Worth the read

Interesting concept, quick light read. For those who are against smut (kinda missed it, lol), this is the cleanest book I’ve listened to in a long time. No sex, no swearing, hard to believe, I know.

I loved this book from start to end! And I didn't want it to stop!

I loved how real all the characters were and LOVED that the man was a regular sorta nerdy guy. He was soooo sweet and romantic and totally swoon-worthy.
