Resumen del Editor

A power has risen in the lands, a dark shadow no one seems to understand. As the newest enchantress, Talia knows her duty lies in finding it.

But she’s failed the bonds of blood once, looking away as her sister was continuously abused; she can’t leave while she can be of use to her. Especially since she may never come back.

Vincent, the playful, bashful prince of the Dragon Realm, knows a thing or two about concealing a dark secret behind pretty smiles; he can tell the frighteningly powerful Talia is hiding something, and he fully intends to find out what.

To Catch a Prince is audiobook two of the Age of Gold fantasy romance series. It may be listened to as a stand-alone.

Disclaimer: Unlike many fantasy audiobooks, To Catch a Prince is not a clean listen. Expect swear words and adult situations. If you enjoy your audiobooks free of f-words, this one isn't for you.

To Catch a Prince is a follow-up to To Claim a King and ought to be listened to after the first audiobook. The story of Talia and Vincent ends there, but the Age of Gold arch will carry on in the next volumes.

Audiobook one: To Claim a King

Audiobook three: To Tame a Rogue

Loved it

Narrators were awesome, I can never get enough of the duo. I'm the middle girl as well so I can relate and I'm glad she came out so strong, she was strong willed in the beginning but powerful after. I also fight for my family. But she seemed duty bound with these new powers to protect the land. looking forward to volume 3

More erotica than fantasy

The actors did a great job. The in and out of female reading the female part although it was the point of view of the male made it confusing at time but eventually I sorta got used to it.

Wonderful

May Sage's To Catch a Prince is a wonderful fantasy tale of mages and dragons skillfully narrated by Kennicott & Ross. It's fast paced, with plenty of action and humor that keeps the listener's attention until the last page. The narration is beautiful, with each character having a very distinct voice, giving the listener an experience that is more like a radio show that just a narration.

Magical

What a fantastic story of shifters. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross breathed so much fire into it with the narration, I was sure I was right there with the characters. I loved it!

Great Series!

This is the second book in the Age of Gold Series. I loved Talia and Vincent's story. This Fantasy Romance is well written. Now, I can't wait for the next book in the Series, To Tame a Rogue. The narration really well done! I love Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott's voices! I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Half baked and with creepy chuckles

Well, things went downhill quickly. Novella 1 was quirky enough but here in number 2 everything is kind of just thrown together into a half baked story. The dialogue is flat, the plot virtually non existent, and the most action occurs in a flashback to a ten second orc-dragon fight from centuries before.

On the fantasy side, we get some vague references to a sorceress. In the final thirty minutes there’s a huge info dump where we find out how this magical world came to be and how there’s a looming threat to it … that will happen in some other novella. It’s bad enough there’s no showing, but even the telling parts are sketchy at best.

On the romance side, we go from insta dislike to insta okay with each other to him buying her “lingerie” and “dry humping” in a hallway upon meeting his parents. What the what?! The only other scene has her waking to his head between her legs … and then it’s pretty much one thrust and done. Yeah, weirdly both too much and too little, not to mention using modern words to describe medieval deeds.

The duet narration was alright, except for the chuckling. Admittedly, it might be the way things were written. Just picture him saying “he stopped and chuckled” … and then also chuckling like BeavisNButthead (huh huh). There’s a lot of creepy chuckling from both narrators.

This is a standalone story only in the sense that Talia and Vincent become mates. The fantasy mystery is barely begun. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough story here to interest me in moving on to whatever spin-offs were dangled before me here.
